Psa 132:11 The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
Psa 132:12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

When God makes a promise and it is said to be “Forever”, we have to realize the earth and everything about the earth will pass away. When we see God make a promise forever He is speaking of something not Just of earth. Forever promises are Jesus promises. When the promise that David would have a king from his lineage forever, the Jewish teachers also took this promise that the Messiah would fulfill this promise. The Messiah BenDavid.

Jesus in the Lineage of David and the Fulfillment of the Promise given to David

Mat 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

Mat 9:27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.

Act 13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
Act 13:23 Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

Rom 1:2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
Rom 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
Rom 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

One Day Jesus will set His feet once again on the Mount of Olives. Even though He is truly, even now the King of kings and Lord of lord’s, He will show Himself again to Israel as their King forever

Act 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Act 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Act 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
