1/2 kg green peas (mashed)
1 tablespoon cumin and coriander powder
1 teaspoon tamarind pulp
About 10 garlic cloves (cut into small pieces)
About 8 green chilies (cut into small pieces)
2 onions (chopped)
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
Salt to taste.
2 tablespoon rice flour
Oil (to shallow fry)
Mix mashed potatoes and salt along with a little cumin coriander powder and turmeric powder.
Heat oil in a pan. Add the chopped onions and garlic. Fry till they turn brown.
Then add all the other ingredients to the pan and keep frying till the mixture is dry. This mixture will be used as a stuffing for the patties.
Take a fistful of potatoes and flatten it in your palm.
Add a little mixture over the flattened potatoes.
Cover the entire mixture with potatoes .
Shallow fry the pattie.
After frying, it can be served with ketchup.
