Two images photographed last January in a close by natural park.

As most of the times I used a manual lens wide open to shoot these.

Wouldn't it be great if we could simply isolate what's important in life this easily too?

It would be awesome to be able to turn a ring around and blur everything that doesn't matter. To fade away all the insignificant petty details that stubbornly keep following us everywhere, and just focus on the real issues instead.

It's not that easy though. Life is known for having a very twisted sense of humor, and when we think that it has thrown pretty much everything at us.. surprise!

There she comes again, with a hand full of salt, a smile on her face and ready to rub it on your still half opened wounds.

Perhaps the intention is good and just wants to season our journey through this weird place. Who the hell knows anyway?

What I know is that salt on wounds burns like shit!!

Both images were captured with a Helios 44-2 mounted on a Sony a7.
